Seebo support for local charity is on track
Seebo sponsors raceday to raise much needed funds for Australasian Order of Old Bastards’ charities
Melbourne, Australia, 5 March 2015 – Seebo Networks has today announced its support for the Australasian Order of Old Bastards (AOOB), a fund-raising organisation that donates to various charities across the country. Through its sponsorship of AOOB’s annual Raceday event, to be named the Seebo Raceday and held this coming Saturday 7th March at the Gold Coast Turf Club, Seebo aims to help AOOB raise much needed funds so that they can continue to make a difference to the lives of Australians.
The Seebo Raceday, organised by the Gold Coast branch of AOOB, reflects the fun and unity of the fundraising charity. The AOOB charter is to raise funds for a variety of worthy causes from children’s charities to disaster relief across the country. Having raised $6.7 million to date, the AOOB state branches take pride in the knowledge that they are helping to improve lives, and having fun while they do it!
“As an Australian entertainment start-up, we appreciate the importance of supporting our local community, grassroots sports and charities. Being able to contribute not only financially towards the event through sponsorship, but also by aiding AOOB in the promotion of the Raceday to ensure as many Australians as possible know about AOOB, what they do, and how they can help, really aligns with who we are as a local company,” said Con Vasiliou, Director, Seebo Networks.
“Race days are such an iconic activity in Australia, and we really believe the day will bring great results to all parties involved, especially those charities that will benefit from fundraising activity. Seebo recognises the importance of supporting its community far and wide, so we are delighted that we have been able to support AOOB,” he added.
“Seebo’s generous involvement in this weekend’s race day is a wonderful testament to the people running this dynamic and innovative Australian entertainment company. As Seebo’s products are like no other, we also feel that we bring a unique and exciting approach to fundraising, making it a wonderful partnership of like-minded organisations.” said Mark O’Donnell of AOOB.
